I aspired to upskill myself and gain more knowledge in my spare time. I wanted to complete a course in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and UniCourse offered the perfect s
olution. I was looking to gain knowledge in particular areas I felt I lacked in, and UniCourse offered the perfect range of optional modules for me to achieve that.
As I needed flexibility in my studying time, online distance learning was ideal for my situation. I initially expected the course to be quite challenging, but contrary to my initial thoughts, I found many aspects of the course enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed learning about Logic Circuits.

The main struggle I experienced during my course was math difficulty, Electrical Theory in particular. However, whenever I felt stuck, I would simply email my tutor who would always point me in the right direction.
This course helped me further my career, in specific it opened opportunities for me to delve into different aspects of the industry as I now have the knowledge to do so. During the course I learned how to approach problems in a systematic manner, breaking them down and analysing them to reach a solution. I feel like this course also assists me during everyday life, that is in a professional manner and during leisure time outside of work.
My next step is to explore what an HND course has to offer. For anyone considering to start an online distance learning course, my advice would be to go for it as it is something you can do in your spare time at your own pace, which will benefit you massively in the future.
